Kubota’s skid steers are known for their high performance and dependability. They come with their own specifications but they have the following in common:
Kubota skid steers are powerful and versatile and are amongst the best brands on the market. Several features set them apart from others. For example, their cabs have a slide-up front entry door that rises up instead of swinging out. This means that the door can be opened in whatever position the loader is in. The cab has climate control and side lights so that it can be operated at night. Kubota’s skid steers have powerful diesel engines with plenty of torque, enabling them to deal with the hardest of jobs. They are easy to maintain because parts such as the battery and oil and fuel filters are positioned in such a way that they are easy to access.
Kubota produces the SSV series of skid steers. They all have an EPA Tier 4-certified 4-cylinder Kubota diesel engine that provides plenty of torque. They have 2-speed travel and optional high-flow hydraulics that increase productivity because they can handle more powerful attachments. As well as being useful in excavation and agriculture, the loaders are capable of dumping into a dump truck with 10-foot sides. The skid steers are vertical-lift and can push and dig equally as well as a radial machine.
The two models, the SSV65 and the SSV75 are similar except that the SSV65 has an operating capacity of 1950 pounds, while the SSV75 has an operating capacity of 2690 pounds. The SSV65 has a rated operating capacity of 4839 pounds and the SSV75 has an operating capacity of 5884 pounds. The diesel engine is smaller in the SSV65. However, 65 horsepower is still powerful. The SSV75 has an engine measuring 75 horsepower. Apart from these differences, they both have the following features:
To answer this question, you need to ask yourself what your requirements are. Will you be using the skid steer on a regular basis or intermittently? Perhaps you only need a skid steer for a one-off job. If you are going to be using it a lot, it makes sense to purchase one. Kubota is an excellent brand that produces machines that are made to last. Their skid steers are made from heavy-duty materials and reinforced in the right places. They make a good investment. However, if you don’t plan to use a skid steer often, it would be better to rent one.
